Frequently Asked Questions

If you have any questions not answered here, feel free to contact us.  We look forward to meeting you.

Q: It all sounds so wonderful.  How do I get there?
A: For excellent directions, go to our Contact page and use the interactive map feature at the bottom of the page.

Q: Are ya'll noisy...loud, clapping hands, shouting, jumping up and down during the music?
A: Yes.

Q: Do I have to raise my hands or dance or anything like that?
A: We encourage freedom in our worship.  After all, He is worthy of all we are and everything we can give.  Having said that, you are free to worship as you wish-standing quietly or jumping up and down.

Q: What kind of music do you sing?
A: We worship with a variety of music.  By combining contemporary offerings from people like Hillsong United and Israel Houghton with traditional hymns and choruses, we attempt to provide an atmosphere where everyone can find a song they like.

Q: What Bible translation do you use?
A: We use a variety of translations.  If we're looking for poetic expression we use the KJV.  When we are trying to understand all the nuances of the languages in the original manuscripts, we use the Amplified.  When we are teaching the children we use the Contemporary English Version (CEV).  We understand that as our language evolves and our comprehension of the Hebrew and Greek languages increases, new translations will be forthcoming.  We believe you should use the translation that suits you best.

Q: What should I wear?
A: You'll see some of us in suits and ties, dresses, blue jeans, and even shorts.  We encourage modesty and comfort.
